Prices

The landlord's prices are quoted in Swiss francs (CHF) including VAT. Visitor's tax and meals are – unless otherwise stated - not included in the overnight rates and will be charged additionally.

The booked period as well as the number of persons are binding. The minimum price in any case is the price stated in the booking confirmation. Additional services will be invoiced separately. This also includes occupancy by additional persons who are not listed in the booking confirmation and may be added at short notice.

Increases in VAT, visitor's tax, fees, heating material prices, etc. between the booking and the start of the stay are considered force majeure and may be passed on to the tenant. However, the landlord is obliged to notify the tenant of such increases without delay after they have become known.


Booking via a booking platform

If the booking platform has displayed a price in another currency, this is for information purposes only.

The exchange rate is based on the currency of the country in which the booking is made.

The exchange rate is based on the selling rate of the Federal Customs Administration. However, since the buying rate is decisive, 5 centimes are deducted from this rate for cash payments and 3 centimes for bank transfers. This procedure may be changed by the lessor without notice.

If a price has been confirmed by the lessor in Euro, payment shall also be made in Euro.


Direct booking via our homepage

Invoices for direct bookings via our homepage are always issued in our national currency, the Swiss franc. Payment can only be made in Swiss francs. Any bank/external charges are to be borne by the tenant.

Payment after booking

For all rental objects (holiday flats, group house, seminar room) booked directly via our homepage, a deposit of 30% of the rental price is due, payable within 7 days after booking by bank transfer in accordance with the invoice.

If the deposit is not received in the account of the lessor within the agreed 7 days, the lessor reserves the right to cancel the booking within 24 hours of being asked to do so without any counter-report on the part of the lessee.

Payment of balance

The remaining amount (difference between the booking amount and the deposit already paid) must be paid at the latest 10 days before the start of the booking/arrival by bank transfer in accordance with the invoice.

For short-term bookings or the use of additional services on site, the lessor accepts the following methods of payment: Cash payment on site in Swiss francs, payment with TWINT, by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club, Discovery, Union Pay), payment by bank card (VPay, Maestro). For technical reasons, payment by PostFinanceCard is not possible. The fees of the payment provider will be additionally charged to the guest.

If payment is made by bank transfer (or by post), the customer shall bear any bank/mail charges that may be incurred. The lessor is entitled to charge these subsequently if one of the banks involved deducts a fee from the transfer amount to the lessor.

Cancellation conditions

Cancellation by the guest

The guest is obliged to pay the full rental price including ancillary costs even if he does not use the rented property or only uses it partially. However, he has the possibility to provide a substitute tenant, provided that he is willing to enter into the contract under the same conditions. In this case he shall only have to pay a compensation fee corresponding to the additional costs. However, he shall be jointly and severally liable to the landlord for the performance of the substitute tenant's obligations.

In case of prevention or non-arrival, the costs below will be charged, therefore it is strongly recommended to take out a travel cancellation insurance (it may be necessary to make sure that it is also valid for groups).

Change bookings will be treated as cancellations. This does not apply if a holiday flat or the group house is rebooked at least 4 months before the start of the rental period.

If the booking was made via a booking platform and this has different cancellation conditions, the conditions stated on the booking platform apply.

If a non-refundable rate is cancelled, 100% of the rate stated in the booking confirmation will always be charged unless the guest provides a replacement hirer on the above terms.

If it is not possible for the tenant to arrive at the rental property due to force majeure, no cancellation fee will be charged. Deposits paid will be refunded. Illness, death, traffic obstructions, accidents and the like shall not be deemed to be force majeure.

Applicable to holiday flats, group house and seminar room

Cancellation from booking up to 6 months before the start of the rental period;
30% of the rental price or deposit is waived.

Cancellation 6 to 4 months before the start of the rental period:
60% of the rental price

Cancellation 4 to 2 months before the start of the rental period:
80% of the rental price

Cancellation less than 2 months before the start of the rental period:
100% of the rental price

Cancellation by the landlord

The lessor has the right to cancel the rental contract extraordinarily at any time before the start of the event if, after conclusion of the contract, the event cannot take place as a result of force majeure (flood, fire, etc.), official measures or due to other reasons beyond the control of the lessor. The hirer's obligation to pay shall lapse. (Partial) payments already made shall be refunded. In all other respects, claims for damages by the hirer shall be excluded.

If the rental object is not available at the time booked through the fault of the lessor, the lessor shall be liable for the loss of the agreed service insofar as it is not possible for the lessor to offer an equivalent substitute service. However, the liability is limited to a maximum of the percentages according to the section "Cancellation by the guest" and only covers the direct damage.

Cancellation by Corona / Pandemics

If the booked stay is NOT PERMITTED due to Corona on the part of the Swiss authorities (e.g., the accommodation of several persons), the booking can be postponed or cancelled free of charge. Excluded from this are all regulations that only concern unvaccinated persons. We accept no responsibility for this. Guests from abroad are very welcome. However, we do not offer any special cancellation options in the event of border closures or entry or travel restrictions. However, we will of course try to make it possible for you to postpone your stay free of charge.


Arrival and departure

Arrival can take place from 15.00 hrs until 19.00 hrs at the latest on the day of arrival.

Vacation apartments Rosmarie and Allegra Checkout: at the latest 10 am
Seminar room Pierre Checkout: at the latest 11 am

Earlier/later arrival or later departure only by prior arrangement.
(Late check-out/early check-in can be booked for an extra charge depending on the booking situation).

By prior arrangement, it is possible to store luggage free of charge at the landlord's before arrival or after departure, provided there is sufficient space available. Liability by the landlord for temporarily stored luggage is excluded.

In the event of departure before 7 a.m., the landlord must be informed in advance and any final invoice would have to be settled the day before.


Cleaning and handover of the rental property (holiday flats and group house)

The rented unit must be handed over in a tidy, broom-clean condition. The dishes must be washed and tidied away. For the final cleaning carried out by the landlord, a cleaning flat rate will be charged according to the booking confirmation. In case of heavy soiling, we reserve the right to charge an additional lump sum of 40 CHF upon return of the rental object.


Collection of luggage and/or persons

The rental company offers a pick-up service for luggage or persons from Habkern or Interlaken. For this service, CHF 10 per trip from or to Habkern and CHF 40 per trip from or to Interlaken West will be charged. The journey must be ordered from the rental company in good time and can only take place if the company has the necessary capacity of vehicles and personnel available. Liability of the rental company for collected luggage is excluded.


House rules

Privacy

The landlord collects personal data of the guest. This includes in particular the name and the registration address of the guest and, if applicable, also of the fellow travellers as well as their e-mail addresses and telephone numbers. The data may also be collected by means of a copy of the guest's identity card. These data are used to contact the guest before and during the stay in order to be able to provide information about the stay and the arrival.

After departure, the collected data may be used for the purpose of direct advertising by the landlord. The guest can object to this use at any time. Photocopies of ID cards will be destroyed after departure, provided that the guest has settled all claims.

Data may be passed on to third parties if this is necessary for processing the data. This includes, for example, the storage of the data in an address management system or in the booking system of the landlord offered by third-party providers. A use of the data by these third party providers does not take place. A transfer of the data to authorities for the purpose of law enforcement is also possible.

Sensitive personal data (e.g. religion, state of health, biometric information such as fingerprints and photos) are neither collected nor stored.

Guests have a right to inspect the data stored about them and may request that it be corrected or deleted.

Jurisdiction

Exclusive place of jurisdiction is Interlaken. Swiss law is applicable.
